“We had a fantastic holiday enjoying every last minute but unable to complete all of the things we wanted to do so we will definitely be visiting again. The most amazing place finished to a high specification. Setting beautiful. Owners very friendly leaving a lovely welcome pack. Surrounding area perfect for walks, activities like cycling, rowing, sailing and much more. National Trust properties and gardens lovely. Enjoyed Bodium Castle, Scotney Castle and Batemans. Within 40-60mins you can be at various beaches such as Hastings, Eastbourne or Brighton. We visited Brighton this time. If you are wishing go into London then the train station in Wadhurst is 3 miles away and takes approximately 1 hour but the connections are simple. Pre book taxis from Wadhurst train station as its fairly remote and there are no taxis waiting in the area to take people to destinations just because of its size. All in all a perfect holiday suiting all our needs.”
